Can I cut the 1-meter LED strip into 3 pieces of 1 ft?

I would like to know whether the LED strips of 1 meter can be split into 3 pcs of 1 ft. And each 1 ft can be joined to make 2 ft, 3 ft, or 4ft LED strips. 

The majority of the LED Strip Lights in our catalog are sold in 5-meter (16.4-ft) reels and can be segmented at the designated cut points, which are labeled upon the product PCB.
