What would be the end light measurement if you cut the LED strip to 39 3/8 long?

I made a lightbox for a 30 x 40" poster. I need the lights close to the edges to keep lighting uniform. I'm cutting strips at 39 3/8 to have the lights inward of this dim by 1/2" each end (38 3/8 to end LEDs) and have 11 strips total or 36 feet. Now I find I can light them all on one plug. So I'm looking to your company to basically start over with 24v lights. If you cut your 24v strip of LEDs to 39 3/8 long what would be your end light measurement? I need light to be within 1/2 of my edges or they are dropping off in light value.

For starters, it might be helpful for your installation planning to know that we have not performed any transmission tests for how the light is perceived when cast through a canvas or print, which will likely vary depending on the thickness and material of the poster, as well as the printing technique used on the material. For example, a heavier card stock print may not be able to transit as much visible light as thinner poster material.

As such, we would recommend taking advantage of our 30-day return policy to ensure that the LED Strip Lights can appreciably deliver the ideal illumination through the material before installation. So long as the strips have not been cut or altered, including having the adhesive backing removed, we would be happy to provide a prepaid return label for their return.

Additionally, please note that our 24V LED strip lights have a maximum combined length of 32.8 ft, which means that lengths connected and powered that are longer than 32.8 feet will likely experience voltage drop and a decrease in light output per LED. As such, we would then recommend utilizing two high-output 24V power supplies to provide the power for the eleven LED strip light segments.

In the interim, we can confirm that as the 24V LED strip lights in our catalog offer 450 lumens per foot, a segment 3.28 ft in length would have an output of 1476 lumens. For 11 strips of uniform length, the total light output would be 16236 lumens.

We have provided a few interactive layout diagrams below, for your review. Each of the below layouts utilizes segmented LED strip light products and contains information and links to the power supplies and connection accessories that we recommend utilizing.
