Can the LED Strip segments be soldered once cut?

I'm looking to make a 56-inch light bar. Solely out of ultraviolet light. Can they be soldered once cut? Can they wrap around and connect again? Not in succession but right next to each other, and does that cause a heating problem? If the light bar was 2 to 3 inches thick, how many stripes could I fit in that area? Would they be bright enough to drive at night at 15mph or 30mph or possibly 50mph?

We're happy to confirm that the realUV™ LED Strip Lights can be segmented and reconnected using solder or our LED strip-to-strip connectors.

We can further confirm that the LED strip lights are 10mm wide and able to be connected in parallel without the necessary for spacing to allow for heat dispersion. It may also be helpful to know that these products have a maximum combined length of 16.4 ft. As such, they are unable to provide power for the entire length if the total length is greater than 16.4 feet.

That said, please note that these UV-A products are not designed to illuminate as typical lights might, and will emit a barely visible amount of light. This is since the majority of UV-A output is invisible to the human eye.

As such, we would not recommend these items for any installation where they were expected to provide visibility.
