The following illustration shows the wiring and component configuration used to power four separate LED strip
light sections from a standard wall-plug outlet. This is an ideal configuration for both residential and commercial
installations where a "plug and play" solution is preferred, without the hassle of behind-the-wall rewiring and
electrical work.
In this example layout, we connect Waveform Lighting's FilmGrade™ power supply unit to a full reel of CENTRIC HOME™/DAYLIGHT™ 95 CRI LED Strip Lights. Because the LED strip light does not have a corresponding DC barrel jack receptacle, we use the PN 7094 adapter to connect the power supply output to the LED strip wires.
This is a common setup for installations such as under-cabinet lighting applications where several short runs of LED strip may be interrupted by appliances or gaps such as stovetops or refrigerators. Note the max power supply capacity of 96 watts, which corresponds to approximately 16.4 ft (5 meters) of LED strip lights.
