The following illustration shows the wiring and component configuration used to connect a five-row array of our
realUV™ LED strip lights to a standard wall-plug outlet.
This setup uses a full reel (16.4 ft / 5 meters) and demonstrates how it can be cut into five equal-length sections of 3.2 ft (1 meter) each. The sections are then connected end-to-end using our solderless connectors (PN 3071), allowing the entire segment to be powered by a single power supply unit.
This is an optimal setup for UV blacklight applications where UV-A output is needed from a panel-like form factor such as screen-print emulsion curing devices.
