CENTRIC HOME™ LED Strip Lights for Home & Residential

★★★★★

Excellent Lighting!

We installed both 2700K and 3000K strips in custom display cabinets in a commercial retail environment. Correct color is important and challenging to find in LED products. Our stores are designed to give a warm "campfire" like feel. The more common "bright or daylight" lighting LED products are inappropriate for our needs, so we were seeking solutions at the warm end of the spectrum. The 2700K was installed where we wanted a "warm" glow effect and the 3000K in a different location where we wanted a somewhat cooler light. Note that there is a significant difference between the 2700K and 3000K. Carefully consider your needs when choosing between these two. 2700K is noticeably warmer than the 3000K. If you are not accustomed to using very warm lighting, you may not like the 2700K. Installation was relatively simple. The strips are easy to cut to your needed lengths. We used the snap on LED strip connectors from Waveform and they work quite well (once you realize you have to snap them open... not completely obvious). The adhesive backing on the LED strips bonded well both to smooth plywood as well as weathered reclaimed wood. We did find it necessary to attach cable clamps at the ends of strips where a wire extended to ensure the strip stayed in place. Because we mounted them to challenging surfaces, the weight of the wire tended to pull the strip off at the ends. Both strips are controlled by the FilmGrade Flicker-Free LED Dimmer. This device allowed us to effortlessly adjust the lighting to our desired level. We will be installing these products in our other store soon. The attached photo shows the cases with the 2700K. The three on the left are lit only by the LED strip. The right case uses the 2700K at the top and under each shelf but is also lit with additional flood lighting, making it appear somewhat cooler/brighter than with the LED strips alone."
