FilmGrade™ WHITE LED Strip Lights

Perfect solution, excellent service
As a volunteer with a local wildlife care agency I’ve come to learn that recovering wildlife does best when their environment causes minimal stress and includes the use of lighted cages. Four elements are critical in the lighting design: 1) good color rendering – so that the food in the cage looks like the food in the wild, 2) high light levels (approximately 1,000 footcandles, roughly equivalent to a shaded day-lit environment), 3) minimal flicker – “flicker-free” as identified in the product description, and 4) minimal heat gain We were able to satisfy these design elements using Filmgrade White LED strip lights (5600k) and the Filmgrade DC power supply (which provides a “flicker-free” solution as confirmed by the support group). Of course this LED solution is also inexpensive to operate, will likely last for decades, and requires no maintenance. The LED strips appear to be particularly well made with good materials. They can be easily cut to length and ends soldered together to combine several rows. Moreover, the support group responded to numerous technical questions with relevant information and in a timely manner. Five stars! In-progress "shift cage" construction photos are included.
