Very High Quality LEDs
I got a set of Waveform Lighting's Ultra High CRI BR30 lamps for home and residential in the 3000K color temperature. I was really impressed by the specifications of these lamps, and they did not disappoint. These lamps are excellent in terms of quality and color rendering. I have them in living room and bedroom recessed housings and they match my preferences well. When I first installed them, the existing dimmers were a Lutron CTCL-153P and some cheap-o model. Both retained a little more light output than I would have expected when fully dimmed, but still acceptable. No audible hum or buzz or visible flicker with the Lutron. There was some buzz with the cheap-o dimmer. I replaced both dimmers with the Lutron SELV-300P electronic low-voltage (ELV) / trailing edge / reverse phase dimmer and the performance is solid. They still only dim down to about the same level as before when fully dimmed, but the dimming range is smooth and there is no audible hum or buzz or visible flicker at any point in the dimming range. Side note: I have the Waveform Lighting Ultra High CRI A19 5W LED filament bulb for home and residential in the 3000K color temperature in an adjacent room, and the color is consistent across these lamp types. I care about both energy efficiency and light quality, and I research and choose my LEDs carefully since they last such a long time. These lamps have a rare combination of high end performance characteristics. I am happy with the decision to get these lamps and certainly recommend them to anyone looking for LEDs with these performance characteristics."
